Table centre pieces can create the feel for the whole room, so it is important to get them right. Flowers can be made from a simple low posy for an informal wedding, to sophisticated tall arrangements. Remember your arrangements should not prevent your guests from seeing each other.
- Candleabras look elegant and are a beautiful way to transform a reception venue with a high ceiling.
- A thin tall vase with a cascading flower arrangement on top of it is another idea.
Low centre pieces - a classic low centre piece is a posy arrangement of flowers that match with the bride's bouquet. Another favourite are globe bowls (also known as fish bowls), filled with crystals or gel balls and co-ordinating flowers.
Weddings Top Table
Decorations for a top table arrangement or civil ceremony table are similar in style and therefore one arrangement can be used for both occasions.
A central arrangement is always placed in front of the bride and groom on the top table, you can then decide if you wish, to add slightly smaller arrangements at intervals along the table if required.
These can be linked with foliage garlands hung along the front of the cloth or with ribbon/organza.
